She then cuts the baby’s umbilical cord, buries the placenta and returns to the village with her child.

Sometimes the woman will simply leave the child in the jungle to die if it is a girl or if she is not married.

Hier haben wir nun die Wahl: Entweder wir respektieren das Recht dieser Stämme, ihren Aberglauben zu praktizieren und schauen zu, wie sie ihre Kinder ermorden oder wir respektieren das Recht der Kinder auf ihr Leben und beenden diese fürchterliche Tradition.
