a laid-back masterpiece from the veteran. wonderful music, that’s so damn nostalgic but nevertheless shows no fear of the twenty first century. rocking melancholicly on You Can’t Stop Me Now, wonderfully southern-rap-like sampling jay-z’s dirt off your shoulder on Straight Up The Block, presenting you a sick chorus and the full brute violence of rza’s hoarse flow on Try Ya Ya Ya. an ill-ingenious album that’s not afraid to hand his rock- and pop-ascendancies with brilliant beats on a silver platter.
