raw and wicked. nerd know how to set trends. (at least, i hope, that coming music videos will be a bit like this one. i really do hope.)

wenn’s um pop im weitesten sinne geht, dann ist n.e.r.d. immer schon meine erste wahl gewesen. besonders die krachenden songs wie lapdance haben’s mir angetan.
time for some action ist einer der besten anfangstracks ever. er beginnt mit dramatischer filmmusik und mutiert dann zu einem kristallklaren beatfeuerwerk. direkt gefolgt von everyone nose, meinem lieblingssong des albums, obwohl ich nicht genau wieso. vielleicht wegen der erstaunlichen diversität, die innerhalb von dreieinhalb minuten geboten wird.
bekannt sind n.e.r.d. auch für die ruhigen parts, die sie immer wieder einstreuen. meine sache ist das ja nicht, aber schlecht klingen auch die ganz und gar nicht.
es ist ein album, das derart viele einflüsse hat, dass man meint, es wäre an einer genrebrechenden gang-bang-party gezeugt worden. und dies im besten nur möglichen sinne.
